MWAK MENTORS RTS RECRUITS AT MOI BARRACKS

The Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK) on Thursday, 17 June 2022 held a mentorship session for recruits at the Recruits Training School (RTS) in Moi Barracks Eldoret.

Hosted by the Commandant Recruits Training School Brigadier Paul Njema, the recruits were taken through various facets of life including family, marriage, relationships, personal development, career, finance, spirituality among other topics.

Addressing the recruits, MWAK Chairperson Mrs. Tabitha Kibochi emphasized on the importance creating a family-centric unity by ensuring military families of serving, retired, widows and orphans, are well taken care of.

On spirituality, the guest speaker Colonel (Fr) George Maingi emphasized the need to have a plan, vision, patience, being prayerful and persistent in one’s undertakings as well as make the right choices in life, for prosperity.

Eldoret chapter MWAK member, Mrs. Catherine Njema, congratulated the recruits for the endurance and courage they have shown throughout their training and wished them well in their upcoming Passing Out Parade.
