Members of the Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK) have today conducted a mentorship outreach for Moi Forces Academy Lanet, Nakuru County.
The event which covered spiritual mattters, pillars of education, time management and discipline was presided over by Mrs Grace Amogola on behalf of the MWAK Chairperson, Mrs Tabitha Kibochi.
Speaking during the event Mrs Amogola noted that KDF fraternity was impressed by the good performance the school had posted over the years.
“I am optimistic that this year’s form four class will excel just as their predecessors did. I urge you to keep up the discipline and the moral values the school and the community at large has inculcated in you,” she added.
Mrs Amogola further commended the school Principal Mrs Jedida Mwangi for the sacrifice she and the entire school staff had made in ensuring that the girls were well empowered.
Mrs Linet Otieno asserted the need for proper time management noting that the length of school terms had been altered by the Covid-19 pandemic thus the need to wisely plan time to ensure success in their forthcoming tests.
The Principal appreciated MWAK officials for organizing the mentorship programme assuring that the event played a key role in modelling the students to be responsible young citizens.
