Commander Kenya Air Force Major General Fatuma Ahmed on 26 Feb 2025 paid a visit to the MWAK headquarters where she was welcomed by MWAK Chairperson Mrs. Grace Kahariri.
The purpose of the meeting was to brief Commander KAF Major General Fatuma Ahmed on the progress of the ongoing proposed MWAK TVET initiative which aims to expand its reach in order to benefit more dependants of KDF families and inclusion of those with special needs.
The Commander KAF Major General Fatuma Ahmed commended Mrs. Grace Kahariri and the team for the transformative initiative acknowledging the efforts in supporting KDF to operationalize welfare. She thanked the team for inviting her to have a first-hand look into the project and pledged her support.
Present during the meeting were Mr. John Waimiri, the Executive Director Family Group Foundation, Col (Dr) Kisilu Deputy Principal DEFTEC and Safaricom territory manager Central and Eastern region Mr. Robert Njoroge.
