WHAT WE STAND FOR

The Military Wives Association of Kenya Strategy 2021-2025 is anchored on the six pillars previously discussed. The strategy is aligned to the priorities of KDF for relevance and complementary. It is ultimately intended to contribute to the KDF mission through supporting the welfare of families.

Our Mission

The mission of MWAK is to improve the holistic quality of life for every Kenyan military family through advocacy, innovative programming, dynamic and relevant solutions.

The Plan focuses on eight (8) thematic areas (pillars) each with a strategic result whose successful execution will enable the Association achieve its mission and vision. These areas are:

  • Mentorship: More transformed, engaged, and empowered KDF
    personnel and families.

  • Veteran Affairs: Honor and recognition of veterans.
  • Recreation and Well-being: A strong and supportive KDF community.
  • Funding: Financial sustainability
  • Partnerships and Collaboration: Social capital through affiliation with bodies of common interest.
