What does MWAK stand for?

Why does MWAK exist?
MWAK exists to complement the role played by Compensation & Welfare Department of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
Our focus is on the wellbeing of KDF families in line with our vision and mission.
Is MWAK a Chama or Club?
No.
It is a non-profit Association registered under section 10 of the Societies Act registered in January 8, 2021, inaugurated March 17, 2021 and guided by a constitution.
Who can join MWAK?
A wife of serving, retired or deceased KDF personnel on voluntary basis.
How to join MWAK?
Log into our registration portal ( https://portal.mwak.co.ke ) and follow the steps.
Is there a subscription fee?
Yes. Please confirm applicable fees on the registration portal.
Can I Join MWAK if I don’t live within a military camp?
Yes
How do I stand to benefit by being a member of MWAK?

Are there financial benefits in joining MWAK?

Can Spouses of the female military personnel join MWAK?
