The Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK) ExCOm launched the third phase of the diaper distribution programme for special needs children dependents of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel. The exercise was flagged of by MWAK Chairperson Mrs. Grace Kahariri at MWAK Head quaters in Nairobi.
The initiative aims to support military families caring for special needs dependents by providing the much-needed supplies to ease the challenges of daily caregiving.
The provision of diapers speaks to the associations commitment to promoting the welfare of KDF families through practical and inclusive support programs.
The launch was marked by the presence of MWAK ExCom members and Regional leaders who joined the Chairperson Mrs. Kahariri and a representation of the families based within Nairobi region in rolling out the program.
The diapers provision programme to other regions is scheduled from Monday, 27 April 2025.
MWAK continues to expand and strengthen its welfare outreach to KDF families.
