On 23rd September 2025 MWAK Executive Committee led by the chairperson Mrs. Grace Kahariri, held a strategic meeting with Mr. Daniel Ndambuki (Churchill) and Ms. Sharon from Chacho Kids Experience responding to an earlier meeting on 26th August 2025.
The main agenda of the meeting, in line with the Recreation & Wellbeing Pillar in MWAK was to officially introduce the MWAK team working on the kids festival event and deliberate on further partners planning meetings, and allocation of roles and responsibilities.
Mr. Ndambuki expressed his commitment to collaborate and support MWAKs’ mentorship initiatives and programs for children and youth focusing on empowering and bringing joy particularly to those with special needs.
The meeting laid a strong foundation for what
promises to be a truly magical and memorable event. From the conceptualization of engaging activity zones, captivating performances, robust safety protocols, and delightful surprises for our young guests – the energy and commitment of the team were inspiring.
As highlighted during the session, the festival is more than just an event it is a mission to bring joy, laughter, and connection to every child who attends.
In her closing remarks, Mrs. Kahariri expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved and conveyed her full support and blessings for the planning process.
