The Chairperson MWAK, Mrs. Grace Kahariri lead MWAK members in a food donation exercise to a group of KDF Widows and the vulnerable in Wote, Makueni County on 27th February 2025.
In her address, the Chairperson MWAK appreciated those present noting that the event was a familiarisation visit while sharing food donation with them.
Mrs. Grae Kahariri appreciated MWAK members present and the organising team for their dedication and effort in making the event a success.
Those present appreciated the food donation noting that it was timely as many of the locals are facing challenges of food shortages due to limited rainfall.
The Area Administrator remarked that the crowd comprised of KDF widows, PLWDs, and the vulnerable locals.
Culminating the event was the distribution of food packages comprising of assorted foodstuff.
