
MWAK team held a consultative meeting with Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) team on 17th March 2025, to discuss curriculum development for the proposed MWAK TVET ICT course for special needs initiative.
KISE, an expert in the field of special needs and disabilities, emphasised the importance of adaptating available curriculums to cater to the diverse learning needs of learners. They further highlighted the critical role of facilitators in guiding learners to leverage their functional abilities in acquiring practical skills.
MWAK appreciated the great insights from it’s partners, with the partners reaffirming commitment to the collaboration.
